Low-Cycle Fatigue of Joined Structures.

Abstract

The purpose of the project was to develop studies in the area of fatigue and fracture on an interdisciplinary basis, in particular, to study low-cycle fatigue, with particular emphasis on welded joints in high-strength steels. The welded joint was analyzed with respect to the state of stress and strain and metallurgical structure, and the mechanism of fatigue initiation and propagation was studied in welded joints of high-strength steels.
