Management by Objectives Workshop (Instructor Manual).

Abstract

This manual contains guidance and step-by-step procedures for instructing Army leaders in how to implement Management by Objectives (MBO) with their subordinates. The workshop format used leads directly to on-the-job application. In general, the materials were prepared to test out the effectiveness of implementing Management by Objectives (MBO) within Army battalions. A companion manual, 'Student Manual -- Management by Objectives Workshop' contains instructional material which enables Army leaders to acquire the basic concepts and principals of MBO.
