Transfer and Use of Training Technology in Air Force Technical Training: A Progress Report.

Abstract

The previously developed model for matching training approaches with training settings was applied to a number of training settings. A number of areas needing further work were identified and research was planned to accomplish the needed work. Concurrently, the peer instruction training system was developed and implemented in the Communications Center Specialist Course (3ABR29130) at Sheppard AFB, TX. Data being gathered for evaluation of the peer instruction course and problems encountered in developing and implementing the course are described. (Author)
