Predetection Compensated Imaging Theory.
Abstract
This report presents results on several subjects related to predetection compensated imaging. In Chapter I, it treats the relationship between noise in phase difference measurements and the resultant noise in the estimated wavefront. In Chapter II, results are presented for use in reduction and interpretation of the AMOS site characterization measurements. Chapter III presents results on the subject of intensity isoplanatism. Chapter IV is concerned with the accuracy with which the achieved OTF of a predetection compensated image can be estimated.
