Abstract

AI3-33515-a, AI3-36368, AI3-36404, AI3-36536, AI3-36537, AI3-36538, AI3-36540, AI3-36542, AI3-36543, AI3-36558, AI3-36559, AI3-36560, AI3-36561, AI3-36563, AI3-36564, AI3-36565, AI3-36566 and AI3-36570 were evaluated on New Zealand White rabbits for their potential to cause skin and eye irritation. The data obtained serves as a basis for making a recommendation concerning their potential use on humans. This recommendation is intended only for guidance in further entomological testing of this compound. No further testing is planned for AI3-33515, AI3-36404 or AI3-36563 because of the topical injury produced. Preliminary toxicity testing is to be continued on the remaining compounds.
