Synthesis of Tetrathiafulvalene-Containing Polyamides.
Abstract
Tetrathiafulvalene -4,4(5')-dicarboxylic acid was prepared and its polycondensation with a series of diamines was carried out using a diphenylphosphitepyridine catalytic activator in dimethylformamide. The polymers were characterized and then attempts were made to prepare TCNQ complexes in order to make semiconducting polymers. (Author)
