Abstract

Seventeen Coast Guard families were interviewed concerning their housing, military benefits, and use of Coast Guard programs. Interviews were conducted in the families' homes. The Service members were attached to eight Coast Guard commands in the greater San Francisco/Oakland area. Knowledge of programs and use of benefits were quantified from interview responses to pin point areas for consideration in present and future housing programs. (Author)
