The Singular Surface in the Parameter Space; Applications.

Abstract

The basic theory of the parameter plane and the singular line is reviewed. Previously unknown properties of the singular line and its relationship to the parameter plane are introduced. The singular surface, a hypersurface of singular values in the parameter plane, is introduced. Compensation techniques using the singular line are demonstrated and a computer program for determining the existance of singular lines is presented.
