An Analysis of the Effects of Previous Histories on the Performance of Students in the Intern Training Center.

Abstract

This report used regression and analysis of variance procedures to find if there were factors which affected the performance of students under Texas A and M Graduate School while at the Intern Training Center (ITC). The factors considered were the Program of ITC, the Students' undergraduate engineering degree, the region of the country from which the student was recruited, marital status, and the grade point average earned while under Government training at ITC. It was found that there was a significance due to the region of the country, marital status, and performance under Government training at ITC. (Author)
