Ground Resistance for MF/HF Design Analysis of Grounded Antenna Systems.

Abstract

A semi-emperical approach is given for calculating ground conduction losses for base-fed MF and HF antenna systems utilizing a simple ground stake or small ground screen. The method can be combined with a commonly available numerical technique for antenna modeling to obtain radiation efficiency and power gain patterns. Numerous comparisons with measured data show good agreement with the analytical approach described in this report. (Author)
