Performance Evaluation of Nine Candidate REMBASS Single-Target Classifiers.

Abstract

The performance evaluation of nine candidate REMBASS Single Target Classifiers is presented. Each classifier is designed to discriminate between six target classes: tracked vehicles, wheeled vehicles, fixed wing aircraft, rotary wing aircraft, personnel, and nuisances. This discrimination is based on features computed from the seismic or seismic and acoustic signatures generated by the target or other disturbance source.
