Marine Geophysical Instrumentation. Sub-Bottom Seismic Profiling of Inland Lakes.
Abstract
The research is directed towards geophysical instrumentation, marine seimic profiling and geomagnetics. The ultimate objectives are to determine sub-surface geologic structures using geophysical exploration methods. The geophysical instrumentation objectives are in developing a marine seismic profiling system which will provide maximum data enhancement and data display and to develop improved seismic energy sources. Progress in these areas is discussed.
