Continuation Versus Recurrent Pilot Training.

Abstract

This report provides a brief survey of literature on retention of motor, procedural and communication skills judged relevant to pilot training. Also included are data concerning more recent pilot recurrent training information available from the United States Air Force, the United States Army and the Federal Aviation Agency. Implications of these data for USAF continuation pilot training are discussed and an approach to obtaining more specific information is recommended. (Author)
