Radar Studies of Arctic Ice and Development of a Real-Time Arctic Ice Type Identification System.

Abstract

The Remote Sensing Center at Texas A and M University is conducting studies for the Naval Surface Weapons Center to develop a real-time, special purpose radar data processor. The purpose of this processing system is to provide ice type identification using radar scatterometer measurements. This document reports on the activities of the Remote Sensing Center during the months of September 1, 1974 through January 31, 1975 directed toward that effort. (Author)
