A Statistical Model of the Lower Ionosphere

Abstract

This report analyzes, as a group, measurements of the electron density profile in the lower ionosphere. Approximately 15 years of measurements were analyzed and an effort is made to develop a preliminary time-varying ionospheric model for use in determining VLF and LF propagation predictions.
