Plastic Piezoids for Fuze Applications,
Abstract
The purpose of this report is to present preliminary results on the piezoelectric activity of PVF2 (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) devices in both quasi-static and reverse ballistic environments in order to assess their device potential for fuzing circuits. Other military applications will also be discussed.
