Target Enhancement by Fourier Optical Processing.

Abstract

Techniques for optical processing with binary spatial filters are well known. A target enhancement system was constructed using a Fourier Transform Optical Processing System. The objective of this system was to enhance the edges of man-made targets that were located within an object field. Color illustrations reproduced in black and white.
