Evaluation of Gamma-Ray Techniques for Nondestructive Measurement of Vegetative Biomass,

Abstract

In summary it appears that gamma-ray biomass measurement techniques can be easily adapted to uniform vegetated areas such as grassland and tangle forested areas. As the jungle begins to mature and stem spacing and size become less uniform, multiple path measurements must be performed in order to obtain an average biomass value.
