Preliminary Analysis of Fall-of-Shot from Project PASS.

Abstract

This report describes the fall-of-shot data as observed and processed during the US Army Electronics Command (ECOM), Atmospheric Sciences Laboratory (ASL), Artillery Meteorological Comparisons at White Sands Missile Range, NM, during October-December 1974. A preliminary analysis of the results and a tabulation of the data are included. These comparisons were also called Project 'PASS' for a Prototype Artillery (Meteorological) Subsystem of the Army's Automatic Meteorological System (AMS) which is currently being developed.
