'Fused On' Rotating Bands for Small Caliber Ammunition

Abstract

A new in-situ method for applying 'fused on' rotating bands to projectiles has been demonstrated. U. S. Patent No. 3,888,295 of 10 June 1975, has been granted on the method. The new method produces bands which are completely bonded to the projectile wall.
