Trident Biological Surveys: A Summary Report, June 1973-July 1975,

Abstract

During the period June 1973 to July 1975, the Marine Environmental Management Office of the Naval Undersea Center conducted five three-week environmental surveys at the site of the Trident Submarine Support Facility, Bangor Annex, Washington. Major emphasis was placed on quantifying abundance and distribution of commercially and recreationally important species of marine molluscs and fishes. However, other faunal species and the marine flora of the area were also surveyed. A species checklist, species distribution patterns, life history notes, and biological monitoring techniques are presented and discussed in the report.
