A-7 ALOFT Life-Cycle Cost and Measures of Effectiveness Models.

Abstract

Economic analyses are being conducted to determine the measure of effectiveness of fiber-optic and coaxial-cable systems for combat aircraft. Participating are the Naval Electronics Laboratory Center, Naval Postgraduate School, and the McDonnell Aircraft Company. The naval activities have developed a Bottoms Up model and McDonnell Aircraft Company has developed a Top Down model. These two models will be utilized to compare and analyze the optimum system in terms of performance and cost. (Author)
