COMS: A Computer-Based Operations Management System.

Abstract

This paper provides a detailed documentation, by means of flowcharts, of the basic modules for a hierarchical production planning and inventory control system. The system is based on the concept of hierarchization of decisions with linkage mechanisms between decision levels.
