Two Related Goodness-of-Fit Problems with Applications to Spacings.
Abstract
This paper shows the connection between two problems concerning goodness of fit. One of them has been of interest for a long time; the other has been given attention only recently. We exploit the connection to apply known results for the first problem to the second.
