Coordination and Organizational Effectiveness: A Canonical Analysis.

Abstract

This paper relates six coordination variables to seven effectiveness variables. Using a canonical correlations analysis it was possible to jointly examine the interrelatedness between the two sets of variables. Data from brokerage offices reveal that the frequency of meetings, participation in decision making and team effort are pertinent determinants of effectiveness as measured by static and dynamic archival indices.
