QUASI-Static System-Generated Electro-Magnetic Pulse Code for Satellite Analysis. Volume II. Appendixes 1 through 3.

Abstract

Investigations of lumped-element modeling techniques are performed for application to system-generated electromagnetic pulse (SGEMP) analyses of satellite systems. The thrust of the effort is twofold: (1) a quantification of errors introduced by the quasi-static approximation and other modeling approximations, and (2) the addition of a particle-pusher routine to the lumped-element model to obtain a self-consistent solution applicable to space-charge-limited problems.
