The Value of a Diagnostic Test,

Abstract

These charts were prepared for a talk on fundamentals of decision-making presented at a meeting of the Society of Nuclear Medicine. Most of the audience were doctors. The decision analysis jargon was presented to smooth the way for later speakers. The goal of the talk was to explain how an economist might answer the question -- 'What is the value of a diagnostic test.'
