Gas Adsorption by Activated and Impregnated Carbons.

Abstract

In the period reported, equilibrium adsorption isotherms have been measured for CHC13 and CC14 on BPL activated carbon and for CC14 on carbons 1, 2, 3. The results have been analyzed in terms of the Dubinin-Polanyi isotherm equation. The W sub 0 and k parameters for carbons 1 and 3 compare with BPL activated carbon. The W sub 0 and k parameters are significantly larger than those for BPL activated carbon in the case of carbon 2. (Author)
