A Description of the Programs Used for Budgetary Control of Computer Service Work at RAE Farnborough.

Abstract

The case for budgetary control has previously been stated and the principles of the scheme currently in use at RAE Farnborough described. It is based on an authorisation scheme which has been in use for about two years. This Report describes, in detail, the Associated Program Suite. It starts with the data base, then deals with the main and subsidiary programs. Basic spending data is obtained from a suite of accounting programs.
