Reflected and Transmitted Fields for a Plane-Wave Pulse Incident on a Conducting Ground.

Abstract

Computer code GROUND is presented for determination and plotting of the total electric and magnetic fields in air and those transmitted below the surface for a plane-wave pulse incident on a ground of finite conductivity. The theory required to write down the necessary equations is also presented. The input to the code can be analytic, such as a double exponential, or a digitized trace. A number of parameters determines the characteristics of the medium and the wave, and the flow of the program.
