The Numerical Inversion of Integral Transforms with Applications to Fluid-Viscoelastic Solid Vibration Problems.
Abstract
A technique is given, for the inversion of various integral transforms, which is based on the adaptive, quadratic, non-equidistant interpolation of the image function. The solution of the problem of the vibration of an infinite viscoelastic cylindrical shell, with and without a surrounding acoustic medium, demonstrates the techniques utility in connection with fluid-viscoelastic solid vibration problems.
