The U.S. Army Project Manager: A Job Analysis Model.

Abstract

Information gained from review of pertinent literature enabled the author to develop an original model of the U.S.. Army Project Manager job position based on the U.S. Army Life Cycle Management Model. The job analysis model includes as subsystems: The Man, The Job, and the Environment, all interacting together. Although not exhaustive, the subsequent inventory of 408 perforamnce tasks which represent observable actions carried out by the PM could serve as an operational checklist for U.S Army PMC students in future assignments.
