Impact Fracture Energy of a Coupled Glass Reinforced Polypropylene.

Abstract

Certain ideas from the field of fracture mechanics have been applied to results obtained from Charpy impact tests carried out on injection moulded bars of a coupled glass filled polypropylene. The effects of both temperature and notch geometry have been studied. The results are presented in a typical fracture mechanics format. (Author)
