Description and Operation of the Laboratory Deionized Water Generator (LDWG) for the Mobile Test Unit (MTU).

Abstract

This report explains the design and operation of the Laboratory Deionized Water Generator (LDWG), which is a support module of the operation of the Laser Cooling Module (LCM) and Mirror Temperature Regulating Module (MTRM) of the Mobile Test Unit (MTU). The purpose of the LDWG is to generate and store deionized water and, when required, supply this water for flushing and charging of the LCM and MTRM. The hardware is essential to the operation of the MTU. (Author)
