Testability Considerations for the Conceptual and Early Validation Phases of a Missile Weapon System.

Abstract

This report defines some of the current problems regarding testability in missile weapon systems. Background is provided on the life cycle aspects of test and evaluation and the Major Range system. Potential applications and benefits from early incorporation of testability are presented. Revisions to DOD 5000.3 which focus attention on Testability are proposed.
