Speech Audiometry Materials for Air Force Use.

Abstract

Speech audiometry materials are described that are recommended for use at special auditory test facilities throughout the U.S. Air Force. These materials were developed by Northwestern University personnel during several U.S. Air Force contract efforts. The test materials have proved to be convenient to use when assembled on magnetic tape in the order described and recommended. A description is given of articulation functions to be expected with both normal and sensorineural-impaired subjects when the proposed materials are used. (Author)
