A Survey and Analysis of the Users' Evaluation of Contract Administration. Appendix G. Total Survey Frequencies

Abstract

This research examined the development, administration and analysis of the results of a survey to measure the satisfaction of users with the contract administration services provided by both the Defense Contract Administration Services (DCAS) and the Plant Cognizance activities. The survey was the third part of an Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Installations and Logistics) study effort. Analysis of the data obtained yielded four conclusions: (a) the sample obtained was representative of the Department of Defense procurement workforce; (b) the responses to the overall evaluative questions were accurate reflections of responses to the individual functional questions; (c) the demographic characteristics of the respondents did not bias the evaluative responses and (d) of the four major areas of contract administration, only Engineering was statistically different for both DCAS and Plant Cognizance activities. Some recommendations for further research and study are also provided.
