Mitogenicity of Staphylococcal Exfoliative Toxin.
Abstract
Staphylococcal exfoliative toxin was mitogenic for mouse spleen cells. Maximal stimulation was achieved with about 50 microgram of toxin. Competitive data indicate that the exfoliatin and staphylococcal enterotoxins bind at the same site. (Author)
