Congressional Testimony: A Unique Experience.

Abstract

The author was designated as a witness before a Congressional Subcommittee while a student at the Defense Systems Management School. Research data were generated during preparation as well as during the actual testimony and includes observation of other witnesses during the hearings. The phases discussed include preparation, presentation and lessons learned. Each phase begins with a general description of the process followed by the personal views and comments of the author.
