Automated Marine Proton Magnetometer APM-1 (Avtomatizirovannyi Morskoi Protonnyi Magnitometr APM-I),

Abstract

The article gives a description of an automated marine proton magnetometer APM-1. Results of a study of different types of sensors and the selection of the optimum sensor from several designs are given. The principal units of the instruments are described, together with results of determination of the deviation, convergence of readings, and metrological tests.
