High Cycle Fatigue of Nickel and Cobalt-Base Aligned Eutectics.

Abstract

The effects of the variables of growth speed and heat treatment on the cyclic behavior of the high temperature eutectics Ni,Cr,Al-TaC (Nitac), and Ni,Nb,Cr,Al (gamma/gamma-delta) is the subject of this report. The results are compared to those for a Co,Cr,Ni-TaC (Cotac) alloy studied previously.
