The Impact of Multinational Corporations on US Security Policy.
Abstract
The theme of this essay is to provide an historical perspective of and motivations for (multinational corporations) evolvement. Then it assesses some of the most prominent issues and how these issues interact with US security policies. The essay was developed through a library and current periodicals search and informed discussions with academic specialists on the subject from the George Washington University. MNC are examined from a liabilities and assets standpoint, to include MNC impacts on national sovereignties, nationalism, American labor, economic development, availability of raw materials, and technology diffusion. MNCs are a net asset to national and international progress.
