A Source Selection Case Study.

Abstract

The case study provides the reader with enough background information and case material to allow him to conduct a source selection evaluation as a member of a Source Selection Evaluation Board Management Element Evaluation Team. The management proposals studied in the case are excerpts from actual proposals made in response to a recent major weapon system solicitation. There is no 'correct' answer presented. The value to the reader lies in practice gained in selection of critical management subelements to evaluate, in structuring a scoring system to evaluate the proposals and in justifying selection or rejection of the proposals with a written narrative.
