Lessons Learned Managing a Small Project in a Large, Multi-System Project Manager's Office.

Abstract

This report intended primarily for newcomers to the project management environment, is designed to give an appreciation of the nature and challenge of such a job. It is based upon both specific examples and general impressions from the author's experience with advanced development of the Digital Message Device (DMD) in the Office of the Project Manager, Army Tactical Data Systems (ARTADS). Recommended guidelines are provided in the concluding section of the report.
