Interactive Screening of Reconnaissance Imagery.

Abstract

The general aims of this study were: (1) To relate symbolic map processing capabilities to capabilities for a reconnaissance imagery screening system; (2) To investigate structural pattern recognition techniques and the use of models for utilization in the segmentation and interpretation of imagery; (3) To study man-machine task allocation in an interactive semiautomatic imagery screening system. As the study was to be theoretical, the results are in terms of recommendations and mathematical development and not in terms of any implementation.
