A New Method for Test and Analysis of Dynamic Stability and Control

Abstract

This report presents a new method of dynamic stability and control test and analysis which uses several computer programs to perform derivative extraction and characteristic analysis. The report covers the advantages of this method and the elements (test conditions, instrumentation, preferred maneuvers) required for success. In addition, complete user guide information is presented to allow setup and execution of these programs. Finally, a section is included on interpreting and evaluating the results.
