Stall/Spin Problems of Military Aircraft

Abstract

These proceedings consist of 23 unclassified contributions to the Flight Mechanics Panel Specialists' Meeting on Stalling and Spin of Military Aircraft which was held in November 1975. There were 5 technical sessions in which the state-of-the-art in the high angle of attack regime was reviewed under the titles: The stall/spin problem; Analysis and design techniques; Test techniques; and Full scale flight experience. There was a concluding discussion which examined the contemporary problem areas in this important aspect of aircraft design and operation.
