A Feasibility Study of Extending the Jetting Process on the Western Rivers.

Abstract

This report examines the potential benefit to be derived from extending the process of jetting in buoy sinkers for use in the mooring of Coast Guard buoys in the Western River System (Second Coast Guard District). It describes the approach used and provides information on the jetting procedure as it is now practiced by the US Coast Guard for the mooring of buoys in selected river areas.
