Integrated Tactical Communications System. Task IV. Refined Alternative MRTF Communications Concepts.
Abstract
The results of the Task IV Study, 'Refined Alternative MRTF Communications Concepts,' provide a description of the baseline communications concept in terms of current doctrine, signal organizations, and materiel along with furnishing a review of INTACS goals, objectives, and communications support requirements for the mid range time frame. Each of the alternative concepts was also examined to determine its compliance with INTACS requirements. At the completion of the analysis, refinements and modifications are made in the form of doctrinal, organizational, and/or materiel changes or options to correct deficiencies and add capability to the systems in order to assure communications integrity.
