Linear Integrated Circuit Models and Applications for Computer Aided Circuit and Systems Analysis and Design,

Abstract

The report describes the development and verification of computer aided network design (CANDE) macro models for an operational amplifier and a phase locked loop. The models were developed using the system elements in the NET-2 Circuit analysis code. The model parameters are obtained directly from the specification sheet. The model verification test programs are described, and the integration of modeling results with a special computerized phase locked loop performed on an integrated circuit tester is presented and discussed. Electronic system modeling is accomplished by developing a model for each functional block of the system separately and then combining all the blocks together to form a complex electronic system.
